Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role
in supporting the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in robotics and a passion for STEM education. As a Robotics Engineer, you will mentor and
guide student teams, provide technical support, and contribute to the organization and execution of
WRO competitions. Your role will help inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote STEM Education and Robotics: Actively promote the significance of STEM education
and robotics among students, teachers, and schools, with a focus on preparing them for WRO
competitions. - Conduct Training and Workshops: Design and deliver robotics workshops and training sessions
for students and educators, preparing them for various stages of WRO. - Build and Troubleshoot Robotics and Coding Challenges: Develop and prototype robotics
challenges and coding solutions that align with WRO requirements, and troubleshoot technical
issues to ensure smooth competition preparation. - Provide Technical Support: Offer technical guidance to student teams, teachers, and mentors
during the preparation phase and competition events. - Coordinate Virtual, Regional, and International Competitions: Assist in the seamless execution
of virtual, regional, and international WRO competitions, ensuring all technical aspects run
smoothly. - Judging Support: Provide technical expertise during the judging process, ensuring that all teams
are assessed fairly based on their robot designs and performances.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Electronics, Electrical
Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in building robots, circuits, and coding for robotics platforms (e.g.,
Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Lego Mindstorms, VEX Robotics). - Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective mentoring
and collaboration with students, educators, and teams. - Experience: Hands-on experience in robotics (0-3 years), including building and programming
robots for competitions. - Passion for Education: Strong desire to inspire and guide students in STEM and robotics.
Additional Information:
- Travel: This role will require extensive travel within India for regional, national, and international
WRO events and competitions. - Role Impact: You will be directly involved in shaping the future of robotics education, helping
students from across India compete on the global stage at WRO 2025.
