Characteristics: Build and program a robot that solves challenges on a field.

Students must design, construct and program an autonomous robot that can solve specific challenges on a field. Because the field is set up randomly each round, the robot needs to be able to make its own decisions during the run.

Progression Criteria 

All RoboMission category teams shall proceed directly to the National Championship (Level 3) to qualify per the criteria for the international championship (Final Level). There is no longer a regional championship (Level 2) as a prerequisite.
 
 A total of 125 slots are available at the National Championship for RoboMission across all age groups
(Elementary: 40, Junior: 60, Senior: 25).
